Experience
Harleen joined Babin Bessner Spry LLP in August of 2022 as an articling student, after graduating from Western University’s Faculty of Law with a concentration in Business Law. Prior to joining the firm, Harleen summered with Thomson Reuters as a legal researcher.
While attending law school, Harleen was an executive of Western’s Tax Law Club, as well as an executive for Thompson Rivers University’s Women in Law Club, Access to Justice Club, and Criminal Law Club. She was also a podcast host for The Law School Show, a Canada-wide podcast which provides guidance to law students. In addition to her studies, Harleen volunteered for the Big Brother Big Sister program and The Dementia Society.
Prior to law school, Harleen obtained her BBA (Hons.) from the Goodman School of Business, where she specialized in finance. During her undergraduate degree, Harleen went on exchange to attend Neoma Business School in Reims, France. During her studies abroad, she travelled to many European countries, including Germany, where she was able to present her idea for a mobile app to the owners of Daimler-Benz.
Outside of law, Harleen is a health and fitness enthusiast, who loves travelling and exploring local coffee shops.
